Friday features moderate to heavy rain in the Southern Plains and light rain in the northern and southern Midwest. Other crop areas will be dry. Northern and western Midwest harvest will be delayed because of heavy rain this week. Conditions remain more favorable for harvest in the eastern Midwest.
