Lakefield Farmers Elevator was acquired by Heron Lake BioEnergy, LLC in December, 2006. There is approximately 1.8 million bushels of upright space. The elevator is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, except on Holidays. Grain buying hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, except on Holidays.
We extend our receiving hours for the harvest season. We typically are open 7 days a week (weather permitting on weekends), and extend hours from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM on most days (except Sundays and if weather permits). We receive soybeans and corn at our elevator. We will accept up to 15% moisture soybeans and 35% moisture corn with discounts to be applied. We also offer Open Storage and Delayed Pricing.
