Minnesota JOB-Z Development Zone

The site of Heron lake BioEnergy's production facility is in an approved JOBZ zone. Therefore, Heron Lake BioEnergy will benefit from the following incentives through Dec. 31, 2015:

• Real estate tax abatement
• State of Minnesota income tax exemption to be passed through to investors
• Refund of sales tax on construction materials
• Exemption from state sales tax on all business inputs, consumables and supplies
• Job training credits
